Jeffrey Skatoff

Jeffrey Skatoff practices primarily in the trust and estates area, and litigates some of the largest and most complex trust and estates disputes in the State of Florida.

Mr. Skatoff started his career in 1991 as a trial attorney in the Honors Program of the Tax Division at the Department of Justice, in Washington DC. Mr. Skatoff litigated primarily civil income tax and estate tax cases on behalf of the federal government. In 1993, Mr. Skatoff was awarded the Tax Division’s Outstanding Attorney Award, for superior performance.

Mr. Skatoff left government service in 1995 and has been a practicing attorney since that time. Mr. Skatoff is also a frequent on-air legal commentator for CNN on the topics of probate litigation and estate planning, and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s, Northern Trust’s Wealth Magazine, and the Palm Beach Post.

In addition to an active litigation practice, Mr. Skatoff also handles estate planning for wealthy families and business owners, and has a large probate administration practice.

Anya Kudszus

Anya Kudszus graduated from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2005. Ms. Kudszus has handled a variety of business litigation cases for corporate as well as individual clients, including trust, contract and commercial disputes as well as labor and employment litigation. Ms. Kudszus has also handled a variety of family law and matrimonial disputes.

Shannon Rountree

Shannon Rountree graduated from Levin College of Law in 2004 and began her career as a prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office in Palm Beach County. During her three years as a prosecutor, Ms. Rountree handled cases in the county court, juvenile, and felony divisions. Ms. Rountree handled every aspect of a case from inception to trial, as well as sentencing and appellate issues.

Ms. Rountree is an experienced litigator, having litigated over 100 jury and non-jury trials. Additionally, she has handled many complex motion responses by way of oral and written argument. With this experience, Ms. Rountree trained and mentored new attorneys in the areas of evidence and general trial strategy at her office, as well as, statewide prosecutors for the Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association annual conferences.

Jennifer Arthur has more than sixteen years of litigation experience. Before she relocated to Florida from St. Louis, Missouri in 2006, Ms. Arthur handled a wide variety of complex civil litigation matters in the state and federal courts for corporate clients and individuals, including contract and commercial disputes, business torts, class actions, product liability, insurance coverage, medical and professional liability, employment, and appellate litigation, as well as alternative dispute resolution.

Katerina Mills

Katerina E. Mills graduated from New England School of Law in Boston and earned her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law. Ms. Mills received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, from Florida State University. While in law school, Ms. Mills was awarded the CALI award for excellence in Estate Planning. Ms. Mills has experience handling multi-million dollar probate and guardianship administrations, as well as estate planning for individuals of all economic backgrounds. She has also practiced in the areas of trust administration, taxation, business organizations, and corporate transactions.
